PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe secondary battery surely performing discharge of an internal pressure of the battery by a simple structure. SOLUTION: An engraved display part 2 is arranged on the surface of a battery can 1, and a thin part formed along at least a part of the engraved display part 2 in the engraved display part 2 functions as a safety valve for discharging an internal pressure of the battery. 【課題】 簡易的な構造で電池の内圧の放出が確実に行われる安全性の高い二次電池を得る。 【解決手段】 電池缶1の表面に刻印表示部2が設けられ、前記刻印表示部2の少なくとも一部の刻印表示部2に沿って形成された薄肉部が、電池の内圧を放出するための安全弁の機能を持ち、前記刻印表示部の電池缶の厚み4は、缶自体の肉厚を100%とした時、1%以上から30%以下の範囲とする二次電池。 【選択図】 図1
